The Harry Partch Institute at the University of Washington

In 2014, the Harry Partch Instruments moved to the School of Music at the University of Washington, Seattle, under the direction of Charles Corey. A program was built to support and maintain the instruments with the first public events held in May, 2015, and the concluding performances at the end of 2019.
This residency featured productions of Partch's Oedipus and The Wayward, the world premieres of his three unperformed works, The Potion Scene, The Bewitched—A Ballet Satire, and the original Adapted Guitar and Intoning Voice version of U.S. Highball, and as a major Harry Partch Festival. Please visit the events page for concert information.
